Description
Learning to ride a motorcycle off-road opens up many new horizons and also teaches you important skills about handling and manoeuvring motorcycles. These skills are just as valuable on and off-road. All riders are divided into groups depending on their experience level, ensuring an optimal training environment with maximum enjoyment for each rider.
Level One - Basic (Essential Skills Base)
This two-day course is for novice or nervous road riders, with little or no experience. Our aim is to help you overcome your fears and turn you into a confident offroad rider. You will be introduced to riding a motorcycle off-road and given the tools you need to explore exciting new horizons… your way.
The course teaches you all the essentials of off-road riding; focusing on confidence and machine control to help improve bike manoeuvring and general riding skills.
Lessons include:

•Learning to lift, balance and manoeuvre a motorcycle in awkward situations

•Manoeuvring the motorcycle at slow speeds, and clutch control exercises

•Improved braking ability

•Ascending and descending hills safely and confidently

•Trail riding on gravel fire roads and dirt tracks
Level One - Advanced (Progressive Skills)
The two-day, Level One Advanced course takes all of your skills from the Level One Basic course to the next stage, and includes additional lessons to improve your off-road riding skills and experience.
The course is designed to build on your essential skills base (acquired in Level One Basic) and riders should be confident of the basic skill sets. This level will also benefit motorcyclists who have ridden off-road before, or who ride regularly on the road covering considerable annual mileage. It is also suitable for regular mountain bikers.

The Level One Advanced (Progressive Skills) course focuses on increasing confidence and improving observation and machine control to hone your general riding skills. This course is faster paced than the Level One Basic (Essential Skills) with more challenging riding between exercises.
