BMW Off Road Skills Training

Thousands of customers have enjoyed the popular BMW Off Road Skills courses. The training takes place in the spectacular Walters Arena in Wales, offering 4,000 acres of terrain and trails to suit all abilities. You will be taught or guided by an experienced team of instructors, headed by seven-time Dakar Rally competitor Simon Pavey. This year's range of experiences has been designed to ensure there is an off-road experience to suit every type of rider, whether you are a complete off-road novice or someone with previous experience.

Our highly acclaimed Level One and Level Two courses continue in 2009, as do our 'Day in the Dirt' and 'Brecon Beacons Discovery' experiences. For this year's programme we have also introduced a new Level Three Off Road Skills Course, to train and prepare riders for the challenges faced in enduro racing. We will also be running a new Adventure Maintenance course, designed to teach the basic skills for maintaining your bike when travelling.
We have also allocated two Level One courses as 'Ladies Only' this year.

BMW Off Road Skills course - Level One Learning to ride a motorcycle off-road opens up many new horizons and also teaches you important skills about handling and manoeuvring motorcycles. These skills are just as valuable on and off-road. All riders are divided into groups depending on their experience level, ensuring an optimal training environment with maximum enjoyment for each rider. More

BMW Off Road Skills course - Level Two The Level Two course is designed specifically for riders with previous experience of BMW Off Road Skills courses. This course enables you to take all those existing skills you have been practising to the next level - skills you can exploit when tackling the challenging trails of the fantastic 4,000-acre Walters Arena in south Wales. Day in the Dirt BMW Off Road Skills has successfully developed a series of special one-day events that run in partnership with our Level One and Two training schools. A Day in the Dirt is the ideal way to consolidate the essential skills learned on these courses, practicing your techniques in the fantastic 4,000-acre Walters Arena in Wales. More
Brecon Beacons Discovery Join BMW Off Road Skills' two-day Brecon Beacons Discovery ride, based in beautiful Radnorshire, mid Wales. Your experience will include riding the great tracks and roads of Radnor Forest, perfectly suited to the BMW Enduro range. This trip offers miles of new trails for previous BMW Off Road Skills participants. More

Adventure Mainenance The BMW Off Road Skills Adventure Maintenance course is designed for you to learn the basic skills and knowledge that will allow you to maintain your own bike when travelling. Our years of travel and racing experience will help you to understand what is and isn't repairable in the field; allowing you to make decisions that should help keep you moving. We will also help you decide which tools and parts are practical and essential to carry. More
Ladies Only courses World of BMW's increasingly-popular Off Road Skills and Rider Training schools have added several 'Ladies Only' courses for 2009, catering for any female riders who might feel more comfortable training in a nonmixed environment. More
